i. Ss may encounter certain difficulties in doing tasks related to the topic

Warm up (5’)
GUESSING GAME
- T asks Ss guess the name of the song to open the piece .And then guess who he is.
T give instruction:
“I have 4 colors with 4 songs .Behind them, it is a picture of person. You will
-First, choose the color, listen the song and say the name . If correct, I will open this piece. If not, I don’t open it.
-If you known him, stand up and say his name.”
-T carries out the game.

Vocabulary
1.Solemn (adj): trang nghiêm 
Technique: visuals 
T : What is the atmosphere ? 
 2. National anthem :(n) bài quốc ca
Technique : example 
T asks ss to listen to a song ( tien quan ca) and guess the name of this song.
 3. gentle (adj): nhẹ nhàng
Technique: translation
T : How can you say “nhẹ nhàng” in English ?
 4. rousing (adj): phấn chấn
Technique: example
Example: rock music makes me feel happy and rousing.
T : so, how can we say “rousing” in Vietnamese ?
Checking vocabulary: jumbled words.
-T shows the new words with jumbled letter and asks Ss to rewrite into right order.

Task 1: True or false
-Before listening, T asks Ss to read through the sentences to understand clearly and find out the key words.
- T ask Ss listen and do task 1.
- T give instruction:
“now, listen and decide these sentences are true or false”
- T plays the tape twice times
- T asks Ss give their answer.
- T plays the tape again to check.
- T gives correct answers and explains why.
Key:
The guest of show is Lan Huong. F → The guest is Quang Hung
Except for Van Cao, Quang Hung doesn’t like any other Vietnamese musicians. F → He likes some Vietnamese musicians
Quang Hung thinks some of Van Cao’s music is very sweet and gentle. T
