I. Aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

Content
- T. has Ss sing the song ABC.
- T. has Ss look at the picture and answer her questions.
- T. gives her idea.
- T. introduces the new lesson.
- T. asks Ss to look at the pictures (p. 26, 27) and ask about the scenery of the 1st picture. 
Ss answer.
- T. writes new words on the board. The four other pictures will be done the same (using pictures / realia)
- T. asks Ss to listen to these new words and then they repeat. (choral / individual)
- T. asks Ss to tell the way to introduce about one’s class / school.
- T. introduces the patterns.
- T. explains the difference between “this” and “that” by giving examples & using her gestures.
- T. introduces the Interrogative form from 2 examples above & the way to answer them.
- T. asks Ss to notice the intonation & guides Ss to practice reading them.
- T. asks Ss to listen to the tape, then has them practice the situation of these pictures (the top 3 pictures first, then the last)
- Then T. has Ss make free practice. (using realia or people)
- T. gives her idea, and asks others to make questions from these sentences
- T. corrects their mistakes.
- T. has Ss do exercise C2 / 15
Ss read the questions aloud and write them on the board.
- T. corrects their mistakes.

- How do you spell it? 
→ H-O-N-G-S-O-N, Hong Son
