 A – What are they doing?

 I – Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know the names of sports and pastimes. Talk and write about the sports and pastimes they play. Ask and answer about the sports and pastimes.

II.Language content:

 1 – Skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

2 – Language focus:

a) Vocabulary: badminton, soccer, volleyball, skipping, aerobics, tennis, table tennis, swim, play, and jog.

b)Structure: - The simple present tense.

 + What is s/he doing? + S/He is jogging.

III – Techniques: Role-play, pair work, group work, brainstorming (Q - A), story telling.

IV – Teaching Aids: Picture, Tape, Cassette, and Book.
