UNIT 13: ACTIVITIES AND THE SEASONS
Lesson 1: A. The weather and seasons (A3 )
Objectives: 
Educational aim: Help students know seasons vocabulary with “What weather do you like.”. 
Teaching aim: Students can talk about their favorite weather.
Preparations: textbook and cassette player
Procedures:
Teacher’s activities
Students’ activities
1. Warm - up: (5’)
- Ask Ss to play game “Jumbled words”
- Write numbers whose letters are in disorder.
 mmuers = summer
 nertiw = winter
 psginr = spring
 lalf = fall
- Divide the class into two teams.
- Ask students from each team to go to the board and write the correct words 
2 . Presentation: (10’)
- Call some pair to practice in front of class:
 + What’s the weather like ?
 + It’s 
- Introduce the structure:
 What weather +do /does+S+ like?
 S + like / likes ++ weather
Ex: What weather do you like?
 I like hot weather
- Ask Ss give some examples
3. Practice: (15’)
- Ask Ss to practice the structure
+What weather do you like?
+ I like hot weather.
- Call some pairs practice in front of class 
- Correct their mistakes.
4. Further practice: (10’)
- Run through the pictures
- Hold up the first picture and say the model sentences:
+What weather does she like?
+ She likes hot weather.
- Do the same for the second picture. 
 - we / cold
 - She / cool
 - They / warm
- Correct their mistakes.
5. Homework: (5’)
- Ask students to learn seasons vocabulary and how to talk about their favorite weather.
- Have them prepare Unit 13 – Lesson 3- A4
- Look at the board.
- Listen to the teacher.
- Work in teams.
- Go to the board and write the correct words. (One word, one student). 
- Listen to the teacher.
- Copy the notes in the notebooks and memorize
- Give examples
- Listen to the teacher.
- Some pairs practice in front.
- Correct
- Look at the pictures.
