1. Warm up (5 mins.)
* Picture drill:
- T. gives the picture of some traditional countries’ clothing in the world.
- Ss. guess the country.
- Then T. asks them to tell the nationalities and the languages they are.
- T. introduces: Today, we’ll learn about the countries, nationalities and languages in the world. How can we speak in English? Let’s begin now.
2. Presentation (10 mins.)
- T. presents the new words and models.

3. Practice (19 mins.)
- T. plays the disk..
- Then T. asks them to read again 
- Then T. asks Ss. to practice asking and answerin: Where is he/ she from? – He/ She is from  . (Pairwork)
- T. asks Ss. to read the information about Minh.
- T. asks them some questions:
? What’s his name?
? Where is he from?
* Substitution Drill:
- T. gives the countries. Ss. tell the languages.

5. Homework (2 mins.)
- T. guides Ss. how to learn and prepare the lesson at home.
