I.Warm up ( 5 mins ) : Slap the board
-T asks ss to listen and slap the right pictures in 2 groups
-T gives feedback
-T sets the scene:” Do you know which is the biggest city in the world? Ok,after this lesson, we will know the answer”.
II.Pre-reading ( 10mins )
*Teach vocabulay
-T teaches new words by showing the pictures and giving the examples
*Teach model sentences 
-T elicits from ss to introduce new model sentences by showing the pictures
*Open prediction
-T asks ss to do T/F exercise
Tokyo is smaller than London 
Mexico is the biggest in the world 
Hanoi is bigger than Ho Chi Minh City 
III.While-reading (20mins )
-T asks ss to listen to the recording and repeat then check their prediction above 
 -T gives feedback
-T asks ss to read the passage in silence to answer the questions in ex 2 on page 159 in pairs
-T gives feedback
-T asks ss to look at the pictures about Sears Tower and PETRONAS Twin Towers then guess which is taller: Sears Tower or PETRONAS Twin Towers?
-T asks ss to listen to the recording and repeat then check their prediction above.
