Chatting:
- ? What do you think about our environment nowadays? 
- T : Our environment is too polluted because of garbage we produce, smoke from cars, and waste from factories In order to keep our environment we should minimize garbage, smoke, waste. But how should we do to minimize them? ( Ss can say un Viet Namese)
- Give the model : . We should use cloth bags instead of plastic bags .We should reuse plastic bags 
-Ask Ss to read Getting Started in the book to get more information
- Nowadays our environment is dirty, polluted. 
- Listen to the T and answer the Qs
+ We should use tree leaves to wrap things.
+ We should reuse used papers to make toys.
+ We should use garbage to make fertilizer.

e. Because plastic bags can stay very long and can not be self – destroyed.

Kim’s Game: Show the picture to the Ss and ask them to observe it carefully, let them look at the pic for about 20’ then put it away.
- ask Ss ( one S in each team at a time) to go to the board and write as maby words showing things in the pic as possible. The team with the most right words is the winner.
- Show the P of garbage in the book on the board, give Ss flashcards with words and ask Ss to match them with items in the P
 cardboard boxes/ glass bottles/ plastic bags/ drinking cans/ fruit peels/ clothes/ shoes
- feedback – T can teach new words when correcting mistakes.

- Ask Ss to write the instructions on how to make a new candle from used wax.
- Feedback – T corrects the mistakes in the instructions.
a. First, collect used wax from candles.
b. Next, melt used wax .
c. Then, pour melted wax into a paper glass with a wooden string in the middle.
d. Finally, cut the paper glass to have a new candle.
- Look at the Ps and tell how to use to make a new candle from used wax. ( Ss can tell in Viet Namese) 
- Ss use given words below Ps to write the instructions on how to make a new candle from used wax. (GW)
