1. in order to = so as to + Vo : để (làm gì đó) à chỉ một mục đích.
2. Future simple: (Thì tương lai đơn) à diễn đạt một hành động ở tương lai.
 S + will/ shall + Vo 
 S + will/ shall + not + Vo  (will not = won’t, shall not = shan’t)
 Will/ Shall + S + Vo ?
3. Will/ Shall + S + Vo ..? còn được diễn đạt 1 yêu cầu hoặc 1 đề nghị.
 Ex: Will you carry my bag, please? (Anh mang dùm tôi cái xách này được không?)
Unit 10:
1. Passive form with present simple: thể bị động với thì hiện tại đơn.
 Active: S + V1 + O
 Passive: S + am/is/are + V3/ Ved + (by O)
2. Passive form with future simple: thể bị động với thì tương lai đơn.
 Active: S + will/shall + Vo + O
 Passive: S + will/ shall be + V3/ Ved + (by O)
3. It’s + adj + to-infinitive: cấu trúc câu dùng chủ từ không có thật “It”.
 (to-Vo) khi dịch sang Tiếng Việt ta không dịch chữ “It”.
Ex: It’s difficult to do this exercise.(Làm bài tập này thì rất khó).
4. S + be + adj + that + S + V .: diễn đạt 1 trạng thái, 1 cảm xúc.
Ex: I am delighted that you passed your exam.(Tôi rất mừng khi bạn thi đỗ).
Unit 11:
1. Do/ Would you mind + V-ing.? : cả 3 câu trên đều diễn đạt 1 yêu cầu lịch sự.
 Would you mind if I + V2/Ved.?
 Do you mind if I + V1.?
Ex: Would you mind if I turned off the radio?( Anh có phiền long không khi tôi tắt radô?)
2. Present participle (V-ing): mang nghĩa chủ động.
Ex: The boy riding a bike is Nam.( Cậu nhỏ đang lái xe đạp là Nam)
 (Hành động lái xe là chủ động).
3. Past participle (V3/ Ved): mang nghĩa bị động.
Ex: The toy made in China is very lovely (Đồ chơi làm từ Trung Quốc thì đáng yêu).
 (Đồ chơi đó được làm, nó do con người làm ra).
Unit 12:
1. The past progressive tense: Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn.
 S + was/ were + V-ing ..
 S + was/ were + not + V-ing ..
 Was/ were + S + V-ing .?
a. Diễn đạt 1 hành động đang diễn ra ở quá khứ có thời gian xác định.
Ex: He was playing on the beach at 7 yesterday.
b. Diễn đạt 1 hành động đang diễn ra ở quá khứ bất chợt có hành động khác xen vào. Hành động đang diễn ra dùng thì QKTD còn hành động xen vào dùng thì QKĐ.
Ex: The phone rang while they were playing chess.(Điện thọai reo trong khi họ đang chơi cờ)
c. Các trạng từ thường gặp: when (khi), while (trong khi)

2. The present progressive with “Always”: Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn với trạng từ “Always”.
 Ta dùng thì HTTD với “Always” để diễn đạt 1 thói quen vốn đã có ở quá khứ vẫn còn tồn tại ở hiện tại.

1. Passive form with past simple: thể bị động với thì quá khứ đơn.

Unit 15: Present perfect with “Yet” and “ Already”: Thì HTHT với “Yet” và “ Already”.
1. * “Yet”: có nghĩa là “xong chưa” được dùng trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn; ta đặt “Yet “ ở cuối câu.
 * “Already”: có nghĩa là “đã xong rồi” được dùng trong câu khẳng định; ta đặt “Already” sau have/ has.
 S + have/ has + already + V3/ Ved .
 S + have/ has + not + V3/ Ved . yet.
 Have/ Has + S + V3/ Ved . yet?
2. * Thì HTHT dùng diễn đạt 1 hành động kết thúc ở quá khứ không rỏ thời gian.
 * Thì HTHT dùng diễn đạt 1 hành động xảy ra ở quá khứ nhưng vẫn còn kéo dài tới hiện tại. 
3. Các trạng từ của thì HTHT: since(kể từ), for (khỏang), yet, already, recently (gần đây, just (mới vừa)
