B. LISTEN.
1. Pre-Listening :
- Introduce the situation (eliciting Question)
“What do you like doing on the weekend?”
-Set up the scenes: “Na is new in the neighborhood. She is talking to Nam about what is she going to do on the weekend.”
Ask them to look at the advertisements and ask them to answer the question: “What’s on the week?”
- Teaching the new words.
Town Ground, Millennium cinema, Cultural house, English speaking contest, the new comer.

- Ask them to guess the place and program to fill the blanks in the advertisement
2. While-Listening :
-Play the tape for students with out stop.
-Have Students listen and fill in the blanks (1/ p66 )

Na: Yes.(pause). Here , the photo exhibition at the cultural House sounds exciting!
Nam: But it does not open during the weekend. And you can not go to the English Speaking Contest either. It is at Nguyen Khuyen School., and it is on Thursday. (pause). Ah, yes. Here, the soccer, a match between Le Do School and Quang Trung School- the best UÏ teams in our province. I will definitely go and see it with BA and Minh
Na: Where do they play?
Nam: At the Town Ground. This is a very special event in town. I can tell you.Would you like to join us?
Na: Oh, yes. I’d love to. I’ve never been to a soccer match before . It must be fun to watch a real match at the stadium. And I’d like to visit the Town Ground, too
Nam: Great. I’ll tell Minh and Ba to come to your home, and we will go together. Remember the match starts at 4p.m, but we must be there by 3.30 if we don’t want to miss the opening show.

2. Comment on theme of the test :
The test is suitable for the students’ knowledge. There are three requirements in the test : recognization, understanding and application,they are suitable for three types of the students : poor students, fair students and good students.
3. Comment on teacher’s teaching:
	Teacher helped students revise the knowledge from unit 4 to unit 7 carefully. Teacher guided students how to learn and to remember the grammar structures, vocabulaty effectively. The teacher gave a lot of exercises for students to practice . However, students didn’t pay attention to studying. They didn’t revise the old lesson before doing the test, so their result is not good.
