 By the end of the lesson, Students can know what they would do in the situations which require first – aid

LESSON 1: GETTING STARTED & LISTEN AND READ
Period: 55th 
Date: Wednesday, December 25, 2012 
I. Aim:
 By the end of the lesson, Students can know what they would do in the situations which require first – aid
II. Language contents:
Grammar: 
Future simple with “will / shall” 
Making requests, offers and requests using modal “will”

Teacher has Students play game Kim’s game 
Teacher has Students open their books and look at the things on page 80 (20’’). Tell them these things are often used for first – aids.
The group having the most right English words is the winner.

Teacher asks Students to discuss and write down what they would do in these situations which require first - aids

A girl has a nose bleed Ò use a handkerchief to stop the bleeding / tell her to lie down
A boy has a bee stingÒ use a medicated oil
Teacher introduces the content of the dialogue
- Teacher presents new words 
- Students give meaning
- Teacher reads new words and asks students to repeat
- Students listen and repeat. Then some students read new words (individually) 
-Teacher checks vocabulary
