-Asks Sts work in group and review all the ways to save energy which they have learned in Unit 7 .
-The group which has more the right ideas is winner .
-Gives the example.
Ex: I went to the market to buy lectuce, cabbage and fruit .
-Explains function of the connectives :
And : To add a similar or another idea .
But, howe ver : To add an opposite idea .
Because : To give a cause .
So, therefore : To give an effect .
Or: To give an alternative .
-Asks Sts to give some examples to demonstrate the use of the connectives .
Ex: Is Miss Nga a teacher or a student ?
He is tall but his son is short .
-Tell Sts to do exercise 1 . Complete the sentences . Use the correct connectives .
-Asks Sts to compare the answers with a friend 
-Calls some students to give .

2-Sticks the phrasal verbs on the board and asks Sts to give meaning through examples .

-Has Sts do exercise 2 . Complete the sentences . Use the right tense form of the phrasal verbs in the box and the pictures .
