I. Objectives

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen and read for specific information about famous celebrations around the world . then practice reading comprehension skill for detail to complete a table

II. Language contents

1. vocabulary: occur(v), sticky rice cake(n), be together (v) , passover(n), Israel, Jewish , slavery , seder , joyful(a) .

2. Grammar : review the simple present tense

3. Skills : Listening – Speaking- Reading - Writing
