LESSON 2: A3 - 4
I. Objectives:
Educational aims: We should keep our health by doing exercise and playing sports
Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson Ss learn how to describe and talk about sports and entertainment
II. Preparations: Textbook, pictures, cassette player.

1. Pre - reading (10’)
+ Activity 1:
- Show students pictures in A3+ A4, Ask them questions and let them answer
 - What is he / she doing?
 - What are they doing?
+ Activity 2:
- Introduce some new words

2. While - reading (18’)
+ Activity 1:
- Have Ss read the text and decide which sentence is true or false.

School children organized “WFF” last year ... 
They walked to the beach every Wednesday 
They took a walk to school on Sunday
- Call Ss to get feedback
+ Activity 2:
- Have Ss read the text again and answer the questions /page 132
- Call Ss to get feedback
Answer key:
He takes part in walking for fun
The writer’s school team won the first prize, they were so happy and wanted to keep the activity.
Two activities are:
a 5 km walk to the beach on Sunday morning
walk-to school day
It’s 5 km school to the beach.
Wednesday is the WTS day.
Members living near school often take part in the WTS day
- Read the text and decide which sentence is true or false.
- Read the text and find out the answers
- Work in group
- Correct the mistakes
3. Post - reading (14’)
+ Activity 1:
- Ask students to look at the pictures, observe and then tell what people in the pictures do .
- Ask questions and let them answer

+ Activity 2:
- Tell students the difference between adjectives and adverbs and how they are used in the sentence.
- Let students take notes.
