- Give Ss 6 pictures 
- Have Ss match the picture with suitable job
- Work in group
- Match the pictures with the words
2. Presentation (15’)
+ Activity 1:
- Set the scene:Hoa received a letters from Tim.He introduced about his family
- Give Ss a picture and ask Ss some questions
 1. How many person are there in Tim’s family?
 2. What does Tim’s father do
 3. What ‘s Tim mother job ?
+ Activity 2:
- Introduce some ne w words:
 1. part-time(n)
 2. local(adj)
 3. home >< homeless(n)
 4. mechanic(n):
5. repair(v)
6. machine(n)
7. shift(n):
- Students who are in grade from 6 to 9 learn the afternoon shift.
- Have Ss practice the new words
- Listen

3. Practice (7’)
- Have Ss read the letter and check their prediction
