general form : công thức chung 
Subject + asked / told + Object (tân ngữ) +(not) + to + V(inf)
-Dùng các động từ mở đầu : asked (yêu cầu) ; told (bảo) ; ordered (ra lệnh) ; advised (khuyên)
-Thêm ‘To’ trước động từ nguyên mẫu của câu trực tiếp hoặc “ not to” nếu là câu mệnh lệnh phủ định
-Thay đổi đại từ (nhân xưng, sở hữu)sao cho phù hợp .: 
+ I, my, me, we, us, our -> đồi theo chủ ngữ (người ra lệnh)

-Bỏ dấu ngoặc kép và từ ‘please’ (nếu có) .
