3. Skills: Develop listening skill

Ask students some questions
1. How many brothers and sisters do you have?
2. When your family member get together, How do you feel?
3. Do you think other will feel the same? Why?

Lead-in: Family is very important to people life. It is the base for one to step into the world with confidence. However each member can have different feeling about it. Today we have a chance to know some of them

Before you listen
FActivity 1 : Describe the picture
- T asks ss to look at the picture and answer the questions:
1. What’re they doing?
2. Who are they?
3. How are they feeling? / How do they look?
FActivity 2
- Teacher asks ss to listen and repeat:
- Explain some new words if necessary
- Teacher helps ss recognize the words in the tape by let them listen to the tape and tell the T to stop when they hear the word. Asks them to repeat the sentences if possible
Individual work
- Look at the picture and answer T;s question

- Plays the tape for twice more times
- Asks students to note down on the table in the book
FActivity 2: Correct mistakes
- Asks students to exchange their notes in group and correct mistakes by themselves
- Calls on representatives of each group to present their answers
- Gives feed back
- Underline the important words
- Guess the answer before listen
- Decide which statement are True or False
