 - Chatting: Ask something about the room on page 32

1 .Warm – up.

- Have Ss look at the picture of part 1 (page 32)
- Ask Ss questions
- Ask Ss to read the description of Hoa’s room. (Note: Ss underline adverbs of place such as: on the left of, above, near, on the right side of, . . . )
- Have Ss look at the promts and picture in part 2 (page 33)
- Have Ss pick out new words/phrases in promts.
- Give helps(if necessary)
-Introduce the lesson: “This is Hoa’s room. You read the description 
- Guide Ss way to write the paragraph to describe the kitchen.(base on the sample paragraph about Hoa’s room and pictures) 
- Look at the picture of part 1 (page 32)
- Answer the questions
- Read the description of Hoa’s room. (Note: Ss underline adverbs of place such as: on the left of, above, near, on the right side of, . . )
- Look at the promts and picture in part 2 (page 33)
- Pick out new words/phrases in promts.
- Copy the words. 
- Listen to the teacher’s introduction and read the description.
-Practice reading them. 
- Understand way to write the paragraph to describe the kitchen.(base on the sample paragraph about Hoa’s room and pictures)

Prepositions: on the left of, above, near, on the right side of

* Answer:
This is Hoa’s kitchen.
There is a refrigerator in the right corner of the room. Next to the refrigerator are the stove and the oven. On the other side of the oven, there is a sink and next to the sink is a towel rack. The dish rack stands on the counter, on the side of the window and beneath the shelves. On the shelves and on the counter beneath the window, there are jars of sugar, flour and tea. In the middle of the kitchen, there are a table and four chairs. The lighting fixture is above the table and directly beneath the lighting fixture is a vase with flowers.
 -Have sts talk to their partners about their room/living room/kitchen... 
-Decribe their rooms 
4. Post- writing
 * Practice writing about their rooms at home. 
5.Homework:
- Learning vocabulary by heart 
-Writing the description again.
- Reading the description again 
-Preparing “ Language focus” for the next period.
