I. Aims. 
	1. Skills: 
	- Speaking: Talk about the changes of the town.
	- Listening: Listen to the conversation and fill in the missing words. 
- Language practice:
 	+ Vocabulary: busy(a); dirty(a); get(v); become(v). 
 	+ Structures: Present progressive and comparative adjectives.
2. Knowledge: By the end of this lesson, students can:
	- Talk about the changes of the town.
	- Listen to a conversation and fill in the missing words.
3. Attitude towards: Ss learn hard and love their motherland.

Activity 1:
(3 minutes)
Warm up:
- Purpose: Help Ss to pay attention to the content of lesson which they are going to study.
- Instruction: Look at some pictures and give your comment.
- Task: 
+ T shows some pictures and asks Ss to give their comment.
+ T sets the scene of the lesson.
- Form of learning: individual

Activity 2
(20 minutes)
I. Speak
1. Work with a partner. Look at the two pictures and talk about the changes of the town.
2. Work with a partner. Talk about the changes in your hometown.
- Purpose: Help Ss to talk about the changes of the town in the two pictures and their home town. 
- Instruction: Look at the two pictures give their comment about the changes of the town.
- Task:
+ Ask Ss to talk about the changes of the town in the two pictures.
+ T explains the form: "S + be + becoming/ getting + Adj/ Comparatives": The present progressive tense with becoming and getting to talk about the changes.
+ Review comparatives and superatives.
+ Asks Ss to look at the two pictures and the word prompts to talk about the changes of the town.
+ Let them practise in some minutes.
+ Calls some Ss to talk in front the class.

(15 minutes)
II. Listen
- Purpose: Help Ss to listen to a conversation and fill in the missing words.
- Instruction: Now we’re going to listen to the conversation between Lan and her aunt Hang. Aunt Hang is talking to Lan on the phone. She is coming to visit Lan in Ha Noi next week.
 - Task:
+ First, asks Ss to guess the answers before listening.
+ Asks Ss to listen to the conversation and complete the sentences with missing words.
+ Play the tape twice.
+ Asks Ss to give their answer. T checks the answer with the guessing words.
+ Let Ss listen again for the third time and check their answer once more time.
