By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to speak with a friend about things which might be on Mars sush as water, little creatures .and practice listening skill for main ideas to check in the boxes

Try to guess and match the drawing with the words in the box” -Sticks the picture on the board and calls some sts to match -Asks sts to practice the dialogue with a partner Dialogue Nam: what do these drawing say, Hung? Hung: There might be water in Mars. Nam: and what about those black sparking spots on the right corner? Hung: well, they might be traces of gemstones. There may be a lot of precious stones on mars *b/ Tells sts to make up similar dialogue about the drawings, using the cues in section a -Goes around the class and helps the weak sts -Calls some pairs to say before class suggested answer A: what do these drawing say, Minh? B: There might be plants in Mars A: And what about those dark shapes on the left corner? B: Well, they might be signs of gas. There may be some plants in Mars. c/-Tells sts to work in groups and discuss to tell each other what you think might be on Mars , on the moon and on other planets calls some sts to make a presentation in front of class suggested answers A: Nam, I think there’s no life on Mars B: why? A: Because there’s no air and water there. B: sure. What about the moon? A: acoording to the scientists, they are not sure. That man can live on the moon, because tempareture there is terribly, It’s hot and very cold LISTEN -Sticks the poster on the board and asks sts to read the statements. Then guess whether the statements are true or false -Has sts listen to the descriptionof the moon. The.
