II- LANGUAGE CONTENTS.

1.vocabulary: exchange (n): maize(n), part-time (n), grocery store (n), hot dog (n),standard (n) .

2.Grammar: Use the present simple tense.

III. SKILLS : Reading - Speaking – Listening- Writing

III- TECHNIQUES: complete the summary ,ask and answer ,groupworks, ,pairwork.

IV- TEACHING AIDS: pictures-posters. Tapes

* READ 
-Introduces the text “today we will study about the life on a farm of an American family. You have guessed about the differences between life on American farms and vietnamese ones”
-Ask the questions.
+what trees / vegetables do farmers in American grow ?(They grow maize / rice)
+ what animals do they raise?.(They raise chickens, cows)
+what do they usually eat? ( They eat Hamburger)
* pre- teach vocabulary:
grow maize : troàng ngoâ (pictures)
part-time # full time : baùn thôøi gian # ñuû thôøi gian
Exchange student : HS du hoïc ( example)
Standard : chuaån
* check vocabulary : “ Rud out and Remember”
-sticks the poster on the board and lets them match the words in column A with the words or groups of words in column B having the same meaning.
