I. Objectives

By the end of the lesson , students will be able to give and respond to a compliment for commom situations and listen to the song Auld Lang Syne by filling the missing words

LISTEN
-Sets the scence “ on New year’s Eve, many people in Western countries hold parties to greet the New year at mid night . people may dance , sing.. they often sing the song “ Auld Lang syne” on New year’s Eve”
-Sticks the poster on the board and asks sts to match the newwords with the appropriate definition
