I. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to

- revise some grammar and vocabulary.

- practice some kinds of exercises.

II. Procedure:

 1. Warm up: Greeting

 2. Checking:

 - N -> Ns

 - V -> Vs -> V-ing

 - Wh-questions

 3. The content:

- Present simple and present progressive tense.

- Drill exercises

Ex1: Give the correct form of the verbs in brackets.

1. What time your father (go) _______ home from work?

2. He (do) _______ his homework every evening?

3. They (not play) _______ sports from 2 o’ clock to four o’ clock.

4. What time classes (start) _______? - They (start) _______ at seven o’clock.

5. I (not have) _______ lunch at 12 o’ clock.

6. My mother (take) _______ a shower every afternoon.

7. We (read) _______ a book now.

8. You (brush) _______ your teeth in the morning?

9. Listen! She (talk) _______ to him.

I. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to

	- V -> Vs -> V-ing
	- Wh-questions
 3. The content:
- Present simple and present progressive tense.
- Drill exercises
Ex1: Give the correct form of the verbs in brackets.

 What does your father do?
Ex3: Make questions for the underlined words.
Nam goes to bed at 10 o’ clock.
He has Literature on Monday and Thursday.
They play volleyball every afternoon.
Nga and Lan are doing the homework now.
It ‘s six forty.
Hoa watches television in the evening.
There is a lake near my school.
He is fifty years old.
 She lives on Quang Trung Street.
Ex4: Read this passage and answer the questions.
	I am Hoa. I get up at six every morning. I take a shower, then I have a big breakfast. I go to school at a quarter to seven. I have classes from seven to a quarter past eleven. I have lunch at half past eleven. In the afternoon, I play sports. I go home at five o’ clock. In the evening, I watch television, then I do my homework. I go to bed at ten o’ clock.
	Questions:
When does Hoa get up?
What time does she go to school?
Does she take a shower every morning?
What does she do then?
Does she have lunch at twelve?
What does she do at five o’ clock?
What does she do in the evening?
What time does she go to bed?
4. Consolidation:
 - Repeat the main point in the lesson.
 - Make sentences base the grammar.
5. Homework: - Review this part.

ADJECTIVES
I. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the knowledge they have learned about descriptive adjectives of the body.
II. Procedure:
 1. Warm up: Greetings
 2. Checking:
- Adjectives (descriptive) 
- Body vocabulary (parts of the body and the head) 
- Color: green, black, red
- Irregular Nouns (singular and plural Nouns): tooth – teeth, foot – feet.
 3. The content:
A. Theory:	
* Adjectives: use to describe sth.
* Formation:
 a. S + be + adj 
 S + be + a/an + adj + N 
 S + be + adj + Ns/ N(uncountable) 
 b. S + be + not + adj. 
 c. Be + S + adj? - Yes, S + be / No, S + be + not
 Be + S + adj + or + adj? - S + be + adj.
 d. What color + be + S? - S + be + adj.
 e. What do/does + S + look like? - S + be + adj
* The order of adj if there are a lot of adj that all of them are before a noun: 
hình thức(xấu/đẹp) kích thước (to/nhỏ) tính chất (cũ/mới) màu sắc xuất xứ chất liệu
B. Drill exercises:
Ex1. Make sentences using the words given:
	Eg: my school/ big.
	My school is big.
1. children/ strong. 5. you/ thin.
2. we/ light. 6. he/ not weak.
3. Lan/ short. 7. they/ fat/ ?
4. she/ tall/ ? 8. your mother/ not heavy.
Ex2. Make questions with OR questions and answer.
	Eg: your school/ big/ small
	 Is your school big or small? - It is big.
1. Mai / thin / fat 6. Her eyes / black / brown
2. They / strong / weak 7. His nose / big / small
3. Her brother / heavy / light 8. Her hair / long / short
4. Mrs.Hai / old / young 9. This ruler / red / blue
5. These books / old / new 10. Her lips / full / thin
Ex3: Make questions with What color ...?, then answer.
	Eg: your school/ yellow
	 What color is your school? - It is yellow.
1. Her eyes / brown .
2. Thu’s shirt / yellow 
3. Phong’s pens / black 
4. My sister’s shoes / white 
5. Mai’s hair / grey. 
Ex4. Write complete sentences using opposite adj.
	Eg: My school isn’t small. -> My school is big.
