Objectives By the end of the lesson, students can: Extend and practice vocabulary related to “Tet”: things, activities and practices. Warm up T. asks Ss to look at the picture and talk about the things in each picture II. Presentation * Vocabulary. T. elicits words from Ss Rub out and remember Act 1. - T. asks Ss to look at the picture and asks Ss to guess what they are listening about. - Ss look at the book and listen. - T. plays record and asks Ss to listen act 1 - Ss look at the book on P 58 and listen to the conversation carefully. - T. asks Ss to work in pairs then do task 2 P 59. T. encourages Ss to correct the false sentences III. Practice Act 3. - T. asks Ss to read the dialogue again and work in pairs to find the information and fill the blanks. - Ss work in pairs and give the answers - T. calls some Ss to read their answers Act 4. Ss look at the picture on Page 59 and match the words/phrases in the box under the appropriate pictures. - Ss work in pairs. T. corrects. IV. Production Act 5. - T. asks Ss to look at the pictures and choose the pictures which they think are related to Tet. Act 6. - Ss play a game. - T. Divides class into four groups and Ss try to write quickly. - Ss compare their list with the members of the groups. V. Homework. Look at the picture and answer the T’s question: T: What are the pictures about?
