1.Warm up (6’)
-T asks Ss to play the game : “Catching words”.
-T divides class into groups of 4.
-T speaks one word randomly.
*15 key words : 
-Chicken, beef, pork, spinach, rice, cucumber, pea, carrot, papaya, pineapple, orange, durian, onion, apple, banana 
=> T says : “Now we’ll read the text about what Hoa and her aunt did for their dinner.
- 4 Ss are got one paper including key words.
-Ss listen to the teacher carefully and circle the words as soon as possible.
-The winner is the faster.
-Listen.
2.Pre-reading (15’)
-T introduces some new words by showing pictures and definitions :
+slice /slais/ (v) 
+boil /bɔil/ (v)
+heat / hi:t / (v)
+stir-fry /'stə:'frai / (v)
+soy sauce /'sɔi'sɔ:s/ (n)
+fish sauce (n)
-Ask Ss to repeat new words.
-Check their pronunciations.
-Call some students read aloud the text.
-Correct mistakes if there are any.
-Organize a matching game to review new words.
-Listen carefully.
-Copy.
-Repeat new words in chorus and individual.
-Do a matching game.
3.While-reading(15’)
A3:
a) Answer the questions : 
-Ask Ss to read the whole text and find out the answers.
*Menu:
-Cucumber salad with onions.
-Boiled spinach.
-Stir-fried beef with green peppers and onions.
-Rice.
b)Add the missing verbs. Then match the instructions to the pictures.
-Ask Ss to read the text and collect the key words.

-Read the text again.
-Find out the answers.

-Call some Ss read aloud the text in front of clas.
-Check their pronunciations and their mistakes.
-10 fastest Ss will get gifts from the teacher.
-Read their own text.
-Listen and correct mistakes.

-Read the text carefully.
-Learn the new words by heart.
-Do exercises in workbook.
