- Have Ss play “Networks”
- Correct Ss’ mistakes and give the correct answers
- Play game
 1. Warm – up:
 Prepositions 
of places
- Ask Ss to look at the street map carefully .
- Ask them to identify different places in the map 
- Ask Ss to listen and repeat the sample dialogue
- Remind the questions and answers about the location .
- Look at 
- Call name of the places

- Listen and take notes if necessary
2 Presentation:
 * Structures: 
 + Could you tell me how to get there ?
 + Could you show me the way to the supermarket?
 + Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. .

- Have Ss ask and answer about these places .
- Call on some pairs to practice in front of the class
- Ask Ss to look at the street map again .
- Explain the aims of the exercise

S1 :Where is the police station ?
S2: The police station is between the post office and museum . It’s opposite the stadium .

S2: The shoe store is between the restaurant and the hotel . It’s opposite the supermarket
 * Example:
- Go straight ahead to the third street , tunr right. What is between the movie theatre and the bakery ?
- It’s toystore .

- Ask Ss to practice asking and answering the way to the places which teacher give(Restaurant / museum / book store )

I. OBJECTIVES
	 - Competencies: Practice asking and answering about distances between two places with “ How far ? ” 
 - Focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
II. TEACHING AIDS 
T: Pictures, extra boards, cassette
Ss: pens, books.
III. PROCEDURES
1. Class orders 
2. Cheking the previous lesson: 
 - How far is it from your house to school ? 
 It’s about one kilometer .

1. Warm – up:
Ex :
- Go straight ahead to the third street, turn right. What is between the movie theatre and the bakery ?
 → It’s toystore .
- Introduce the aim of the lesson , then explain some new words and structures .
- Ask Ss to look at the dialogue and listen to the tape 
- Ask Ss some questions about distance using : “How far is it from to?”
- Ask Ss to listen to the tape again and repeat after the tape .
