Warm up (5’) Teacher’s and Students’ activities Content - T asks Ss to match the names of places with the suitable pictures. - Ss read suggested words then match them to the correct pictures.(work individually then compare the answers with a partner) - T checks students’ answers by asking some questions : Ex: What is this? - It’s a grocery store. Is there a grocery store in your neighborhood / near your house? - Ss answer. I. Getting started. Match the names of places found in a neighborhood with the pictures. * Ss know some places near the house. II. Listen and read: * Pre-listening. -Questions : 1. Who is new to the neighborhood? Na or Nam? 2. Is there a restaurant in this neighborhood? - Answers : 1. Na is new to the neighborhood. 2. Warm up: (5’) Teacher’s and Ss’ activities Content - T gives the definitions and gets students to find out the words as quickly as possible. Guessing the words : 1.
