 READING
 (1 period – 45 minutes)
I.Objective: By the and of the lesson Ss will be able to
- develop their reading skills as scanning for specific information and guessing meaning in context
- Improve more knowledge about the biggest football event on the world – the World Cup.
- Know more about the history of the World Cup..
- Learn more vocabulary, both meaning and pronunciation.

1/ WARM-UP (5’)

-T divides class in to 2 groups
-T shows a short video about football teams 
-T asks Ss to remember the name of football teams
-T ask Ss to go to the board and write the name of football teams
