II. While-Writing Set the scene: You will read Mr. Brown’s C.V. Read and do the following tasks. . Activity 1: Read Mr. Brown’s C.V and write a paragraph about him, using the cues - Read quickly Mr Brown’s C.V - Run through the cues and giving an example sentence - Work in groups - Write a paragraph about Mr. Brown - Read their writing - Give the feedbacks Answer: Mr. Brown was born on 12th November, 1969 in Boston. He went to Kensington High School and passed exams in English, French and Mathematics. He worked in a travel agency from June 1991 to December 1998. And from 1999 to 2002, he worked as a hotel telephonist. He likes music and dancing. Activity 2: Ask your partner for the information about his/her parents and complete the form. - Divide class into pairs - Guide them to make question to collect the information - Work in pairs - Monitor - Check their writing - Give the feedbacks III. Post-writing Activity: Write a paragraph about his/her partner’s parents. Read loudly. - Work individually Write the paragraph Monitor Ask Ss to check their classmate’s writing Correct the mistakes IV. Homework - Write a paragraph about your parents or relatives. - Prepare language focus.
