Procedure : Teacher’s activities Students’ activities and content 1.Warm - up: -The ABC song. 2. Activity 1: Listen, point and say. -Arrange the flashcards on the board, play audio. Point to the flashcards with the audio. -Play audio again. -Change the order of the flashcards. -Correct the pronunciation when needed. * Game :Heads up. What’s missing ? -Divide the class in two teams. -Arrange flashcards on the board and move one card when Ss are not looking. One from each team calls out the missing flashcard. 3. Activity 2: Listen and do the action -Introduce the situation. -Have sts call out the objects and people they can see. -Play the audio. -Play the audio again. * Structure: Stand up, please. Make a line, please. -Guide Sts to use the structure. 4. Activity 3: Listen and Sing along. Play the audio and ask SS to listen and sing along. 5.Consolidation. -Listen and sing along. -Listen to the audio and repeat. -Ss listen, repeat and point to the pictures in their books. -Ss point to the flashcards and say the words. -Ss play. -Ss call out the object. -Ss listen and follow the story. -Ss listen and repeat. -Ss write the structure into their notebooks. -Ss listen and sing the song as the whole class and do the actions. -Ss listen and do the action. - Ss listen and sing along. -Ss play the guessing game.
