I. Aim:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to ask and answer about personal information such as their names, ages and addresses.
II. Language contents:

Content
- T. has the whole class play a game “Hangman” with some commands they’ve already learnt “stand up, sit down, come in”
- T asks Ss to follow the teacher’s commands
- T. has Ss look at the picture (p. 23) and predict where this scenery is (city? or country?)
- T. explains to them some more about this picture (road, buildings, trees...)
-T. asks Ss to tell somethings often talked about when people meet together in the 1st time. Ss give their opinion.
- T. asks Ss to tell the questions about someone’s name and address/ living places.
Ss tell the patterns – T. writes them on the board.
- T. takes the note about the information of “WH-question”
- T. guides Ss to practice reading these patterns aloud (choral)
- Then T. calls some pairs of Ss to reread them
- T. corrects their pronunciation
- T. introduces the dialogue and asks them to listen to the dialogue twice. Then Ss repeat
- T asks Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs silently in 3 minutes
- Then T. calls some pairs of Ss to practice this dialogue aloud
Ss play the roles in the dialogue (Lan and Nam)
- T. corrects their pronunciation and intonation
- T. asks Ss to practice making open dialogues.
Ss practice in pairs (using their real facts)
- T. corrects Ss’ mistakes in grammar and pronunciation
- T gives her ideas and marks
- T. has the class listen to the tape. (part B2, 
p. 24)
Ss listen to the tape twice, and then they repeat after the tape (choral)
- Then T. calls some pairs of Ss to practice reading the sentences again after they practice in pairs silently
- T. corrects their pronunciation
- T. asks Ss to do exercise B3, p. 12
Ss practice completing the dialogue in pairs silently, then they practice the dialogue in front of the class 
- T. corrects their mistakes
- T. calls Ss to complete the dialogue.
Ss practice in pairs. (asking – answering, then writing the words completed)
- T. corrects their mistakes
