Notes: - Đại từ nhân xưng ngôi thứ hai

 - Ở các ngôi số nhiều To be chỉ có một dạng duy 
 nhất là are cho tất cả các ngôi.
 - Ở thể phủ định ta thêm not vào sau động từ (to 
 be) : am not, is not (isn’t), are not (aren’t)
 - Ở thể nghi vấn(câu hỏi) ta đảo động từ “be” ra 
 trước chủ ngữ: Am I? / Are you? / is he? / Are 
 they?
6, Mô tả danh từ bằng tính từ
Tính từ mô tả cho dạh từ có thể đứng ở một trong hai vị trí sau
- Chủ ngữ + to be + tính từ
eg: Phong’s school is small

eg: It is a small scool

8, Sở hữu cách của danh từ.
Ta gọi 1 danh từ là sở hữukhi nó, về danh định là sở hữu của một vật biểu hiện bằng danh từ đi sau nó. Một danh từ sở hữu ở sở hữu cách có thêm “s” được viết liền ngay sau nó.

9, Các từ để đặt câu hỏi.
 Which + danh từ
.. từ hỏi mang nghĩa là “nào” nó được đặt trước danh từ như thể nó là mộtn tính từ và nó hàm ý người được hỏi sẽ phải lựa chọn gữa hai hay nhiều vật khi trả lời
10, The present simple tense.
Cách dùng: Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả một sự việc xảy ra ở thời diểm hiện tại hoặc một hành động quen thuộc xảy ra đều đặn hoặc một sự thật hiển nhiên.
eg: I am a student
 She goes to school everyday
* Quy tắc cấu thành ngôi thứ ba số ít ở thì hiện tại.
+ Hầu hết các dộng từ ở ngôi thứ ba số ít ở thì hiên j tại đều phải thêm “s”(ngoài trừ các động từ khiếm khuyết
eg: 
+ Nhưng các động từ tận cùng bằng o, ch, sh, ss, z thì ngôi thứ ba số ít ở thì hiện tại phải thêm “es”
eg:
+ Ngoài ra các động từ tận cùng bằng –y phải đổi –y thành –i trước khi thêm –es (ngoài trừ đứng trước chữ -y là một nguyên âm mà không thay đổi mà chỉ thêm –s

Giới từ là tư đứng trung gian giữa hai từ để nêu rõ mối quan hệ giữa chúng, mối quan hệ này có thể là thời gian, không gian, chuyển động.
+ at (vào lúc) - trước số giờ của đồng hồ
eg: at 6 o’clock,
+ on trước các ngày trong tuần
eg: on Monday, 
+ in trước các buổi trong ngày
eg: in the afternoon,

a / an là mạo từ bất định
the là mạo từ xác định
eg: There is a park near my house
 There are trees and flowers near the park
3/ Any trong câu phủ định và nghi vấn
Khi chuyển sang dạng số nhiều, ta dùng any thay cho mạo từ bất định a để làm nhấn mạnh phủ định và nghi vấn
eg: -There isn’t a park near the house
 There aren’t any trees near the house
