OBJECTIVES - Competencies: Ask for and give directions - Focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. II. TEACHING AIDS T: Pictures ( map), extra boards Ss: pens, books. III. Teaching the new lesson: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Content - Have Ss play “Networks” - Correct Ss’ mistakes and give the correct answers - Play game 1. Warm – up: Prepositions of places - Ask Ss to look at the street map carefully . - Ask them to identify different places in the map - Ask Ss to listen and repeat the sample dialogue - Remind the questions and answers about the location . - Look at - Call name of the places - listen and repeat - Listen and take notes if necessary 2 Presentation: * Structures: + Could you tell me how to get there ? + Could you show me the way to the supermarket? + Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. . + Go straight to the first street . It’s about one kilometer . 3. Warm – up: Ex : - Go straight ahead to the third street, turn right.
