2. Cheking the previous lesson: 
 Write the past simple form of each verbs:
Run - ran
fly - flew
take - took
have - had
do - did

-Ask sts to write the past forms of the verbs on the board.
-Corrects the mistakes.
-Ask sts to look at part 2 and guide sts to do the exercise.(Now in order to review the usage and structure of the past simple tense, you work in pairs, complete the small dialogues)
-Have some pairs of sts practice in front of the class.
-Correct mistakes.
-Ask sts to use the prepositions in the table to complete the sentences.
- Call some sts to read the whole sentences.
-Give the correct answer.
-Remind the structure and usage of USED TO.
-Ask sts to complete the dialogue.
-Have some pairs of sts practice aloud in front of the class.
Revise what Ss have from the structures above.
-Write the irregular verbs.
-Copy the correct words.
-Work in pairs, complete the dialogues.
-Practice the dialogues in pairs.
-Complete the sentences with the correct prepositions of time.
-Read the sentences aloud.
-Copy the correct answers.

Activity 2.Complete the dialogue below. Use the past simple:

 -Nga: No. I ate noodles.
b- Ba: How did you get to school?
- Nam: I took a bus to school.
c- Minh: Where were you last night?
- Hoa: I was at home.
d- Chi: Which subject did you have yesterday?
-Ba: I had Literature.

(Getting started, Listen and read)
I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to get acquainted with the topic about study habits, get acquainted with reported speech. 
- Focus on listening and reading skills. 
II. Teaching aids:
T: Cassette player, tape 
Ss: pen, books
III. Procedures:

2. Cheking the previous lesson:

+How much time do you spend doing your homework every day?

-Ask some questions to lead the students into the lesson:
+What do you usually do before you go to school?
+How much time do you spend doing your homework every day?
-Introduce the topic and write the title of the lesson on the board.
+Tell me some subjects you have at school.

-You will listen to the dialogue betweem Tim and his mom. They are talking about Tim’s report card. Listen to the tape and pay attention to some new words.
- Explain some new words.
-Have sts read the words in chorus and in individual.
-Have sts work in pairs, reading the dialogue.
-Call some pairs to read the dialogue in front of the class.
-Show sts the sub-board. Ask them to read the sentences silently and check the boxes
-Call some sts to read the sentences and decide whether the sentences are true or false ( correct the false sentences)
-Have sts read the dialogue again and discuss the questions in pairs
-Have sts ask and answer the questions in pairs.
-Give comments and correct the answers.

- Focus on speaking and listening skills.

III. Procedures:

2. Cheking the previous lesson:

+How long does it take you to go to school every day?
+Do you usually help your parents with the housework?

-Introduce the five questions in textbook.
-Guide sts how to practice asking and answering the questions.
