 Ä Lời nói gián tiếp là lời nói tường thuật lại ý của người nói.
_ He said, “I want to go home.”
® He said he wanted to go home.
 Ä Khi đổi từ câu trực tiếp sang gián tiếp ta phải: 
	F Đổi đại từ hoặc tính từ sở hữu (nếu có) sao cho tương ứng với chủ từ hoặc túc từ ở mệnh đề chính.
_ Lan said, “My father is a teacher and my mom is a nurse”.
® Lan said her father was a teacher and her mom was a nurse.
