- Ask students to think about the danger in the home for children.
- Divide students into two teams and let students answer the question by coming to the board and write
- Give feedback.
Step 1: Pre - reading
- Introduce the topic of the passage and some new words to students

* Checking: Slap the board 
 -Calls on two teams of 5 students to the front of the class and makes sure they stand at an equal distance from the board.
- Calls out one new word in Vietnamese , the two SS must run forward and slap the word on the board in English .The one who slaps more correct words is the winner.

- Ask Ss to read the statements and guess which is true , which is false.

Step 2: While - reading 
1. Reading and checking 
- Ask students to look at poster on page 31 to check their prediction
- Ask them to compare with their partner.

- Have them correct the statements which are false .
- Give feedback.
2. Comprehension questions 
- Ask students to read the quections aloud ( one by one).
- Ask Ss to work in pairs to find out the answers of these questions. 
- Give feedback.
- Ask students to work in open pairs and then close pairs to practice asking and answering the questions.
