I/ Warm up :
Work with a partner. What would you do in the situations which require first-aid? following the pictures.
a girl has a burn on her arm.
I ‘ll use cold water to ease the pain and then take her to the nearest clinic/hospital if necessary.
a girl has a nose bleed.
I’ll leave her lying flat and stuff (nhét vào) her nose with cotton-wool to stop the bleeding.
a boy has a bad cut on his leg.
I’ll wash the cut with alcohol. Then I’ll bandage the cut to stanch (cầm máu) it.
a boy has a bee sting.
I’ll apply lime (xử lý bằng vôi) to the around the sting (vết đốt) to stop the sting from being swollen ( swell-swelled-swollen: sưng, phồng lên).
II/ New lesson:
Pre teach vocabulary:
an ambulance: xe cứu thương (draw)
first-aid: cứu thương (situation)
an emergency : sự khẩn cấp (T: When do we need an ambulance?).
unconcious (adj) # concious; bất tỉnh # tỉnh (What’s “bất tỉnh” in English?).
(to) bleed: chảy máu (When you have a cut, the cut will.(bleed).?)
(to) injure : bị thương
a wound : vế thương.

 Match the letters A, B, C, D, E, F to the correct words in the box.

2) While listening : Ordering
Listening text :
There is the emergency room in a large hospital. A paramedic is wheeling a patient on a stretcher into the emergency room where a doctor is waiting to treat the patient. The patient doesn’t look well. His head is bandaged and his eyes are closed.
A nurse is pushing an empty wheelchair towards the exit. She is probably taking it to a patient in the ambulance.
The eyechart on the wall is used to check people’s eyesight. The chart consists of about 28 letters ranging in size from about 5 centimetres in height at the top of the chart to about 1 centimetre at the bottom.
A doctor is trying to weigh a crying baby on the scale. The baby’s mother is standing nearby. She’s trying to stop her child from crying.
The crutches, which are for someonewith a broken leg are leaning against the wall.
3) Post listening : Write it up
A parademicis wheeling a patient into the emergency room. The patient’s head is bandaged
A nurse is pushing a whellchair towards the exit.
A doctor is trying to weigha crying baby on the scale. The mother’s baby is standing nearby.
The crutches are leaning against the wall.
The eye chart consists of 28 letters ranging in the different size.
III/ Homework :
Rewrite the story on notebook
 Divides the class into two groups Draws Shark and steps on the board.
Draws 9 gaps and asks : How many letters are there?
Asks ps to guess the letters in the alphabet. If your guess is wrong, you have to step down. If your guess is right, you get one mark.
Continues the game untill ps find out the word
Elicits
Follows the steps teaching the new words
Asks ps repeat the words in chorus then rub out word by word but leave the circles
Go on until the circles are empty. 
Calls on 6 ps to come to the board to fill in the circles with the right words again
Asks ps to look at the pictures in their books again and match the letter to the correct words in the box
Rub out the letters (A , B) but leave the words
Tells ps they are going to listento a paragraph about the activities taking place in an emergency room which contains the words on the board
Asks ps to write the chart and guess the order of the words
