A. The Present Progressive Tense
- Asks Ss questions
“How do we use the present progressive tense?”
“How do we form the present progressive tense?”

- Recalls Ss with the use and form of the present progressive tense if they forget by using posters
1. Form: 
S + am / is / are + V- ing + .
	E.g:	 I am teaching English.
	 	She is playing computer games.
2. Use: Diễn tả một sự việc đang xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc đang xảy ra vào lúc đang nói ở hiện tại. Trong câu thường có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian như now (bây giờ), at present, at the moment (hiện giờ, vào lúc này) thường nằm ở cuối câu.
	E.g: The farmers are working in the field now.

a/ Form:

	 Ex; They will be here tomorrow evening.

I. Presentation
A. There is - There are
We use there is and there are to say that something exists.
1. Positive Sentences
We use there is for singular and there are for plural.
There is one table in the classroom.
There are three chairs in the classroom.
There is a spider in the bath.
There are many people at the bus stop.
We also use There is with uncountable nouns:
There is milk in the fridge.
There is some sugar on the table.
There is ice cream on your shirt.
Contractions
The contraction of there is is there's.
There's a good song on the radio.
There's only one chocolate left in the box.
You cannot contract there are.
There are nine cats on the roof.
There are only five weeks until my birthday.
Negative Form
The negative is formed by putting not after is or are:
There is not a horse in the field.
There are not eight children in the school.
There is not a tree in the garden.
There are not two elephants in the zoo.
We almost always use contractions when speaking.
The Negative contractions are:
There's not = There isn't
There are not = There aren't
Note: In English grammar we use "there is" and "there are" to talk about things we can see and things that exis.
B. Singular and pluralnouns.
1. For the plural form of most nouns, add s.
bottle – bottles
cup – cups
pencil – pencils
desk – desks
sticker – stickers
window – windows
2. For nouns that end in ch, x, s, or s sounds, add es.
box – boxes
watch – watches
moss – mosses
bus – buses
3. Some nouns have different plural forms.
child – children
woman – women
man – men
mouse – mice
goose – geese
4. Nouns ending in vowels like y or o do not have definite rules.
baby – babies
toy – toys
kidney – kidneys
potato – potatoes
memo – memos
stereo – stereos
