II. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
Language : Review some vocabulary about food and fruit: spinach, cucumber, papaya, pineapple, durian,.
Skills: Develop speaking and reading skills.
III. RELEVANT PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: 
Ss have finished unit 11: Keep fit, stay healthy.
IV. APPROACH AND TEACHING AIDS/MATERIALS:
Grammar Translation Method + Communicative Approach
PowerPoint presentation, textbook, real objects, cards and magnets.
V. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS
Teachnical problems (T must arrive at classroom earlier to prepare).
SS may not know how to express their opinions (T should give helps immediately).
SS may be tired and unwilling to participate (T must arouse SS’ interest from the beginning of the lesson).

Let’s play a small game: 
“ NETWORK”
- Divide class into 2 groups. 
- Each members from each groups will take turn to go to the board as fast as possible to write down the answers.
- After 2 minutes, which group has more right answers will be a winner.
- T checks.
- Ask SS to read words
 (chorally and individually).
- Give feedback.
Lead in: Ask SS some questions:
Do you often go to the market?
What do you often buy?
Now we will go to the supermarket and buy something.

PRESENTATION
New words:	
stall (n) [stɔːl ] (a large table used for selling things ).
spinach (n) [ˈspɪnɪdʒ] (a vegetable with dark green leaves that can be cooked or eaten raw in salads).
cucumber (n) [ˈkjuːˌkʌmbə(r)] (a long thin vegetable that has a dark green skin and is white inside).
papaya (n) [pəˈpaɪə ] (a fruit with green and yellow skin that has soft).
pineapple (n) [ˈpaɪnˌæp(ə)l ] (a large fruit that is yellow and juicy inside).
- T reads new words.
- T introduces the situations of the dialogue:
“We are going to listen to the conversation between Hoa and her aunt. Yesterday, Hoa and her aunt went to the market and buy something.”
- T asks ss to read the dialogue.
- T listens and corrects pronunciations mistake.
- T asks SS some comprehension questions.
What did Hoa and her aunt buy at the market?
What meat would they like for dinner?
Why didn’t they buy a papaya and a pineapple.
