	 Lesson 4 In the city B 2 - 4 .
I. Objectives:
a). Educational aims:. Students should arrange their times suitably
b) Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson students learn how to express past actions and their hobbies 
II . Language contents :
a. Vocabulary: 
 Nouns : rest , noise , direction .
 Verbs : scare , guess , get , used to dislike , socialize .
 Adverbs : regularly , really .
 Adjectives : quiet , little .
 b. Grammar :
 * Simple past tense * Used to (past habit )
 * to hate +V-ing /noun * to get use to+ V-ing/N-PN
III Techniques : eliciting –gap filling – matching - role-play

 Practice asking and answering in pairs .

Call some pairs to perform the dialogue before class . Correct if necessary .
+ Activity 2 : B4..Listen .Then match each name to an activity
Have students look at the picture and notice the activities shown
Ask them to tell what the activities are
Let them listen to the cassette twice, then match each name to an activity .
Let them check the key answers together
Call some students to check their exercises correct if necessary .
Ask students to write the poem and the grammar notes

 + How do you enjoy these games ? 
 Introduce the content of the reading about video
 games .
c. While – Reading
Read over the text . Have them reread by themselves .
Ask students questions and let them answer then give comments .
Check the questions , correct if there are any questions .
* Some Questions : 
What did Hoa and her friends often do together ? 
Why did Hoa rarely go to see movies or eat out in the evening ? 
Why couldn’t Hoa read many books in her village ?
Why did Hoa decide that the city wasn’t so bad after all ? 
d. Post Reading :
Ask them to copy the text and learn by heart the first two paragraph . 
Look at the pictures , listen to the teacher’s questions and try to answer
Listen , then reread the text by oneself
Try to answer the questions , Then listen to the teacher’s comments .
