 I- Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to complete the dialogue between Mrs. Quyen and Lan by ordering the sentences, practice and develop speaking skill to talk about the preparations for some festivals. The handicapped children will be able to talk about the school festival. Review and use the compound noun to make sentences.

* Contents: - Grammar: Compound words

- Vocabulary: Pomegranate, tailor, participant, fight, export.

- Skills: speaking, writing

II- Teaching aids: T: book, chalk, extra board, tape, cassette.

 Ss: Books, extra board.

 I- Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to complete the dialogue between Mrs. Quyen and Lan by ordering the sentences, practice and develop speaking skill to talk about the preparations for some festivals. 1.Orgnization.(1’)
2. Check the old lesson.(5’)
- Write new words which concern the topic “rice-cooking festival”
3. New lesson.
 a- Pre-speaking.(15’)
- Ask Ss some questions to introduce the situation of the speaking.
What do people often prepare for Tet. Write them down on pieces of papers
- Ss work in pairs to do (2')
- Ask Ss to speak before class
- T gives feedback.
- T introduces about the dialogue and some new words.
- Use technigues to teach new words.
- Pomegranate(n):
- tailor (n): the person who makes clothes for you is a tailor.
- Guides Ss read the new words.
- Guide Ss how to do exercise Ss work in pairs to put the sentences in the correct order
- Call on some pairs to give the answers
- Give feedback and correct
- Asks some pairs to read the dialogue before class.
-* Ask Ss to say something about the things Mrs. Quyen and Lan prepare for Tet.
b- While-speaking.(13’)
- T guides Ss to choose a favorite festival (Ex: a school festival)
- T ask Ss What should you do to prepare for school festival? 
- Ss share the ideas
 T ( gives some cues and guides Ss to make a dialogue)
+Decorate/ clean/ paint (the house, the room, the gate).
+ Buy cakes/drinks/fruits/candies...
+ Get new dress/clothes..
+ Write/send letters of invitation.

- Some good Ss say something about what they are going to do to prepare for one festival that they've talked about

 they' ve talked about

# Make a similar dialogue about the preparation for your school festival.
*- Write a passage to prepare for Tet festival; 
- Prepare new lesson: Listen

* Suggestions:
- Decorate/ clean/ paint the house/ the room/ the yard
- Buy cakes/ candies/ drinks/ food/ fruits
- Cook/ make cakes
- Get/ buy new dress..
- Write/ send New Year cards to friends/ relatives.
* New words:
+ Elicit the vocabulary from Ss
- Pomegranate(n): quả lựu, cây lựu.
- tailor (n) : thợ may
