Warm up T: hang a picture on the board and asks them what sport is it? II. Presentation * Vocabulary. T. shows the picture of Mount Everest and elicits words from Ss. Ss read vocab in chorus. Rub out and remember Task 1. T eplain to them that the five rings repesent the five major regions of the world (Africa, the America, Asia, Europe and Oceania) and every national flag in the world has at least one of the five colours (blue, yellow, black, green, and red Ss work in pairs and find answers to the quizzes. Then T gives the correct answers. II. Practice T. call some pairs present before class. Task 2 Give Ss plenty of time to work in pairs to ask and answer the questions. Encourage them to talk and raise as many questions as possible. Task 3 Divide the class into groups of four or five, encourage 5s to talk about their favourite sportsperson one by one. T. calls a student to the board and write the correct answer IV. Production - Ss choose two facts from the four paragraphs and write them down. - T. asks some Ss to read aloud. V.
