Đặc điểm tình hình:
1. Thuận lợi:
* Giáo viên:
- Được phân công đúng chuyên môn.
- Giáo viên được tham gia các lớp tập huấn đổi mới PPDH và kiểm tra đánh giá.
- Giáo viên năng nổ, nhiệt tình, sáng tạo trong công tác giảng dạy, tích cực học hỏi kinh nghiệm của đồng nghiệp.
- Được nhà trường, xã hội luôn tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho việc dạy và học tiếng Anh.
* Học sinh:
- Được trang bị đầy đủ tập ghi, SGK.
2. Khó khăn:
* Giáo viên:
- Chưa có kinh nghiệm lập kế hoạch bộ môn buổi chiều. 
* Học sinh:	
-Một số học sinh chưa chăm chỉ, chưa tích cực trong học tập..
II. CẤU TRÚC CHƯƠNG TRÌNH:
K9: Số lớp: 4. Số tiết: 1t/tuần. Tổng số tiết cả năm: 35 tiết
III. BIỆN PHÁP NÂNG CAO CHẤT LƯỢNG:
1. Đối với giáo viên:
a. Chấp hành tốt qui chế chuyên môn:
- Ra, vào lớp đúng giờ, đảm bảo ngày công.
- Đảm bảo đúng chương trình, thời khoá biểu.
- Soạn giảng giáo án phù hợp với đối tượng học sinh, sử dụng phương pháp dạy học phù hợp.
b. Hoạt động nâng cao chất lượng giảng dạy:
- Giáo viên nghiên cứu, tìm tòi, sáng tạo để nâng cao kiến thức và nghiệp vụ chuyên môn.
- Giáo viên phải thực hiện tốt việc soạn giảng theo đúng phân phối chương trình.
- Giáo viên phải tích cực giảng dạy, thực hiện chỉ thị xây dựng trường học thân thiện.
- Luôn trau dồi, tích lũy kinh nghiệm, kiến thức để tự bồi dưỡng, nâng cao trình độ chuyên môn nghiệp vụ .
c. Tham gia các phong trào mũi nhọn:
 - Tham gia đầy đủ các buổi tập huấn, sinh hoạt chuyên môn.
- Soạn giảng giáo án phù hợp với đối tượng học sinh, sử dụng phương pháp dạy học phù hợp và theo đúng phân phối chương trình lớp 2 buổi / ngày.
d. Kỉ luật:
- Ra, vào lớp đúng giờ, đảm bảo ngày công.
- Đảm bảo đúng chương trình, thời khoá biểu.
e. Kiểm tra:
- Đánh giá kịp thời chất lượng học tập của học sinh theo quy định kiểm tra, đánh giá.
- Thường xuyên kiểm tra chất lượng học sinh dưới mọi hình thức.
2. Đối với học sinh:
- Cần học bài đầy đủ trước khi đến lớp.
- Chú ý lắng nghe thầy cô giảng bài trên lớp, tích cực học tập từ các bạn học khá giỏi.
- Ngoài việc học trên lớp thì việc ôn luyện ở nhà là rất quan trọng: cần ôn lại tất cả các từ vựng và cấu trúc thầy cô giao cho. Ngoài ra, phải chăm chỉ tham khảo các cuốn sách bài tập.
- Luyện tập các kĩ năng: nghe, nói, đọc, viết thường xuyên.
IV. MỤC TIÊU:
Kiến thức:
Sau mỗi đơn vị bài học, học sinh phải nắm được kiến thức trọng tâm cần ôn tập của từng bài cụ thể.
Kĩ năng:
Tập trung vào việc kết hợp 4 kĩ năng nghe-nói-đọc-viết trong từng tiết học.
Thái độ:
- Giáo viên cần có thái độ nhiệt tình, thân thiện với học sinh.
- Học sinh chăm chú nghe giảng, chép bài đầy đủ và tích cực xây dựng bài.
