Sick, dizzy, stomach ache, headache, fever, cold
Warm-up:
Play game: Guessing word.
T introduces the game: one person will express the symptoms or diseases by body language. The rest will guess that word.
T express once as an example. Then, T haves one st to do. The whole class say aloud all of words.
Structure:
Introduction:
T draws sts’ attention to the structure box then explains it.
T gives an example:
“What’s the matter, Mickey?
->I feel dizzy.
T asks sts to read the example.
B1: Listen and read.
B2: Listen and draw lines.
Development:
B1:
T reviews the story from the previous lesson: “The children ordered food at the Pirate restaurant.”
T introduces the situation “After the pizza”
T haves sts call out the symptoms and people they can see.
T writes them on the board.
Sts listen and read.
B2:
T plays audio and demonstrates the activities using the example.
T continues play the audio and have sts listen and draw lines.
Sts listen again and check answers.
Consolidation:
Play game: Lucky star.
T haves sts play the game to remember the structure.
IV/ Homework:
Learn by heart the structure.
Make sentences based on the structure.
