Teaching the new lesson Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Contents -Ask some questions to lead sts to the lesson: “The new shopping mall has effected the small shops, so these stores owners organize a meeting to discuss the effects of the new shopping mall. Now you read the notice and pick out new words” -Explain some new words. -Guide sts to read the words. -Ask sts to read the notice -Ask some questions about the notice. a. Why are the residents and store owners on Tran Phu Street going to hold a meeting? b.When will they hold a meeting? At what time? c.Where will they hold a meeting? -Have sts read the passage and write a similar notice. -Have sts work in groups. -Go around the groups for help. -Ask sts to exchange their posters and read the notice. -Choose a notice to show the class and correct it. -Guide sts to write the notice at home with the information Date: .... Objectives: By the end of the lesson the Ss will be able to use general knowledge to complete the exercises in language focus. II. Teaching aids: T: Books and, cardboards, posters.
