“The new shopping mall has effected the small shops, so these stores owners organize a meeting to discuss the effects of the new shopping mall. Now you read the notice and pick out new words”

- Sticks a poster of infinitives and Past Participles on the board.
- Divides the class into 2 teams.
- Gets students from 2 teams to go to the board and write each pair of infinitive - past participle
- 	Gets students to repeat in chorus and remember the past participles of irregular verbs .
- 	Gives students an open dialogue between Nam
- Asks students to repeat the dialogue and ask some students to practice in pairs.
- Asks students to look at exercise 2 on page 69 and decide which is the length of time and which is starting point.
