1.Warm up: Substitution boxes
T put a box full of words on the board. Sts can either make one long sentence or lots of short sentences.
2.Pre - writing:
*Pre - teach vocabulary:
*Checking technique: Matching
*Gap - filling: 
-Ask sts the meaning of the verbs in the box
-Have them use suitable verbs to fill in the blanks
*Comprehension questions:
1.Where was the farmer when the tiger appeared?
2.What did the buffalo do when the tiger appeared?
3.What did the tiger want to know?
4.What did the farmer do before he went home? why?
5.What did he bring with him?
6.What did he do then?
3.While - writing: Transformation
Sts rewrite the story, transforming from “the farmer” to “I”, “His” to “my”
4.post - writing:
Sts swap their stories. They share, compare, admire, copy others.

One day, as I was in the field, and my buffalo grazed nearby, a tiger came. It asked why the strong buffalo was my servant and I was its master.I told the tiger that I had sth called wisdom. The tiger wanted to see it but I said that I left the wisdom at home that day. Then I tied the tiger to a tree with a rope because I didn't want it to eat my buffalo. I went to get some straw and I burned the tiger. The tiger escaped, but today it still has black stripes from the burn.
